Originally hailing from Belgium Dirk perfectly knows where dance music comes from. It was also in the late 80ies that he took up the turntables and started shaking people all over his hometown "Gent". Nobody realized that this golden dance era would eventually be the foundation of the ever-growing electronic culture we have nowadays. With this huge electronic background it can be said without any doubt that Dirk was, is and will be a DJ in every sense of the word. Making the people dance and have a good time is one of his unyielding philosophies. The beauty of what he does lies in just how creative he uses the several aspects of mixing music. This made him to be one of the most respected DJ's in Gent when people flocked the clubs he played. This led to his presence in Flanders biggest parties and made him enter championships he nearly all won. Mentioning the numerous parties he played, the various clubs he conquered with his entertaining way of mixing and the European countries he visited as a DJ would only confirm what thousands of people have heard. Lending your ear to one of his mind-blowing dance sets, which once lasted up to 17 hrs, will take you on a stroll on memory lane with ecstatic house classics, underground beats, streaming vocals and earthly rhythm. The diversity of styles and the way to combine them also led him to be one of the first DJ's in Belgium to introduce R&B to the club he was residing at that time. The success was groundbreaking and received many followers. He received congratulations of "The Harlem Globettrotters" themselves! Having accomplished almost everything as a DJ with crowds up to 7000 people in Germany, and maintaining a longstanding presence in the dance culture, we are very sure that the following step in his career will be to make his own production in order to transcend DJ'ing alone. Currently residing in Santiago de Chile, he has already conquered the hearts of many Chileans with his sets. As a person Dirk's lack of pretense is enveloped in imagination and creativity. He is both solid and durable with enormous precision. His sets are filled with moodiness and mystery but he always seems to hold them down with the right rhythm. His accuracy in mixing different styles and his incomparable feeling of 'the right track at the right time' have astonished many clubbers and producers. We are confident that he will keep on doing so in the years to come.
